Ingredients:
1 can black beans (15 oz)
1 can pinto beans
1 can garbanzo beans
1 can hominy
32 oz chicken, beef, or vegetarian broth
2 tsp Knorr (or bouillon of choice)
1 tsp oregano
1 large carrot, chopped
1 white onion, chopped
1 celery stalk, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1 tsp cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp guajillo chili paste (or red pepper flakes)
Olive oil for sautéing

Method:
Chop all vegetables.
In a large pot, sauté onion, carrot, celery, and garlic in olive oil until fragrant.
